SCHÜTZ DSL – Services

The SCHÜTZ Ticket Service

A world first
All SCHÜTZ IBCs from SCHÜTZ DSL come with a complete collection and disposal service.

The SCHÜTZ Ticket Service is a global return system for emptied ECOBULKs that includes free collection, refurbishment and reuse of the containers. SCHÜTZ DSL operates this system across Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia as part of the global 'SCHÜTZ Ticket' system.

Every ECOBULK container SCHÜTZ DSL supplies has a SCHÜTZ ticket in a pocket on the identification plate. After the container has been emptied, the user completes the ticket form and faxes it to SCHÜTZ DSL, who then organise collection of the ECOBULK. SCHÜTZ DSL transports the returned ECOBULKs to the nearest SCHÜTZ service centre (SCHÜTZ DSL Melbourne or Kuala Lumpur) for full refurbishment.

This unique service offers

world-wide coverage

  • plastic recycling
  • metal frame re-use
  • disposal in one country and replacement in another
  • environmental option in industrial packaging.

Refurbished IBCs

SCHÜTZ IBC’s are designed to be refurbished. The plastic and metal components of the modular system are easy to replace, making them the ultimate reusable packaging system. Refurbished IBC’s are less expensive than new units, yet still qualify for the SCHÜTZ/SCHÜTZ DSL ticket. The units are made up of the following:

  • Second hand cage / pallet
  • Brand new bottle
  • Brand new valves, seals, caps and washers
  • New ID plate, valve guard etc.
  • New ‘start date’ for UN purposes
