SCHÜTZ DSL is a leader in reusable industrial packaging for a range of products including industrial chemicals, lubricants, food, beverages, agricultural chemicals, pharmaceuticals and many dangerous goods.
Established in the 1970s, the company was originally set-up to buy, sell, collect and recondition steel drums. Today SCHÜTZ DSL is one of Australia’s largest and most technically advanced container manufacturing and reconditioning companies, with offices throughout Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia.
SCHÜTZ DSL plays a major role in developing innovative, cost-effective solutions for industrial packaging and re-use. This incorporates a range of diverse products from 20 to 1500 litre containers and associated services. It also provides responsible solutions and disposal services for a range of used industrial containers.
SCHÜTZ DSL manufactures the world renowned market leading SCHÜTZ ECOBULK range of 1000 litre Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) for the Asean region. These units hold the volume of five 44 gallon steel drums in the space of four, and come with the unique SCHÜTZ Ticket Service - a system that ensures the collection and recycling of the containers throughout the world.
In 2002 SCHÜTZ DSL launched the first Australian-made, blow-molded composite IBC at approximately half the cost of imported IBC models, resulting in substantial customer savings. The IBCs are manufactured on site at SCHÜTZ DSL in Melbourne and also in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.
SCHÜTZ DSL’s commitment to responsible and environmentally sound packaging practices inspires customer confidence in all its products and services.
